Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify the simultaneous and partial effects of work from home and workplace environment due to the Covid-19 pandemic on the performance of eBright Skin’s employees. This study is an explanatory research as it explains the causal relationships between research variables through hypothesis testing. Using saturated sampling, 23 employees of eBright Skin working from home were selected as the research respondents. Primary and secondary data were employed in this study, analyzed using multiple linear regression performed in IBM SPSS ver. 28. This study finds that work from home and workplace environment simultaneously have positive effects on employee performance, that work from home positively and significantly influences employee performance, and that workplace environment has positive and significant effects on the said performance.

 

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh work from home dan lingkungan kerja akibat pandemi COVID-19 terhadap kinerja karyawan eBright Skin, baik pengaruh secara simultan maupun secara parsial. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory research yang menjelaskan hubungan kausal antar variabel penelitian melalui pengujian hipotesis. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh. Sampel terdiri dari 23 karyawan eBright Skin yang bekerja secara work from home sebagai responden penelitian. Data primer dan data sekunder digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Data-data tersebut dianalisis dengan metode analisis regresi linier berganda yang dilakukan melalui aplikasi IBM SPSS versi 28. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Work from home dan lingkungan kerja secara simultan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan eBright Skin, (2) work from home berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan eBright Skin, dan (3) lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan eBright Skin.
